Solid and comfortable. My kids love these chairs as much as I do. Instructions are not good. Once I figured out the orientation of the cross slats (the wider length of each slat being on the underside, and the shorter length of each slat being closest to the chair seat -see picks) they were super easy to put together. I really love these chairs. The construction is very sturdy, and they are so pretty. The roped seating is strong, but I am worried it could stretch over time. I use a pillow on the seat to protect them, and that works great and looks nice. They are a bit lower than our previous dining chairs, so I recommend checking what seat height works best for your table.. Emily. US. Wed Jul 01 2026
