This is, in general, a pretty good middle ground between higher-end, no-assembly-needed wood dressers and the build-yourself particle board/MDF stuff. It was fairly easy to assemble, BUT - get a drill. You will want it, even if you technically don't. Be prepared for some of the pre-drilled holes to be done badly/off axis - I had to drill a new hole at the right place/angle twice while constructing two of these dressers. The wood color is pretty nice, although I had hoped the pecan color would have been warmer/deeper. It is pine wood, so it is pretty soft, so you can scratch/dent it if you're not careful - but it's more robust than particleboard. The drawer slides seem perfectly adequate and I've had no issues. My biggest tip is to open the box outside or in your garage if you can - it is packaged with the cheapest, flakiest styrofoam I have ever seen, which will get everywhere. Ultimately, if you are handy with a drill this is an easy job, and I would give this 5/5 for the cheap closeout sale price I paid, but 3-4/5 stars at sticker price.. Hannah. San Ramon, CA. I finally got around to putting this dresser together and it took me a solid 2 and a half hours working on it by myself, so plan accordingly if your gonna tackle it alone. The instruction manual is illustrated and pretty clear which helped, and all the hardware was included and labeled so I didnt have to dig through a pile of random screws trying to figure out what goes where. Once its assembled the thing is actually pretty solid, the boards feel thick and it doesnt wobble or flex when I pull out drawers full of clothes. The 9 drawers give a ton of storage space, I moved stuff out of three different bins and theres still room to spare which was exactly what I needed. The drawer glides work smoothly, nothing sticks or scrapes when opening and closing which is nice since I had a cheaper dresser before where every drawer was a battle. The rounded edges on the top are a thoughtful touch, especially with a little one running around the bedroom, no sharp corners to worry about at toddler height. The felt pads on the legs keep it from scratching the hardwood floor and the adjustable feet in the back let me level it out since my floor has a slight slope. The natural finish looks clean and neutral, goes well with the rest of my furniture without being too plain. A few things worth mentioning, the back panel is thin so you gotta be careful when nailing it on to not punch through it, I dinged mine a little getting one of the nails in crooked. Also the drawers themselves feel a bit lighter duty than the frame so I wouldn’t cram them full of heavy stuff. The assembly is doable solo but having a second person would of cut the time down considerably, especially when lining up the bigger panels. The dresser feels fairly study once assembled, with the exception of the drawers being a bit loose when pulled out. The color looks very nice in person and it appears to be higher quality than it actually is. One complaint we have is that the curved doors on either side and very difficult to slide open and require you to use one hand on the handle and one hand gripping the slats around the backside of the dresser to really open and close them. This could’ve been something I did in error during assembly, but this is not my first rodeo with assembling furniture. For the price though, you really can’t beat this dresser.. Rob. Davison, MI.
