This clever bench features bobbin turnings on the arms, legs, and stretchers, and a sweetly scalloped apron. The seat is hand-tied rush and the seat divider makes this the perfect "time out" bench when there are cries from the children. Serviceable in an entryway, this bench would also be a happy tableside or at the foot of your bed.

This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy.
