So when you reach that step, don't try it without a friend, otherwise you risk damaging the piece. The desk is lovely! I really do like it. Unfortunately though, I paid for the white glove delivery which was completely unnecessary (the thing has nearly zero assembly, I have assembled plenty of Wayfair purchases myself and really regret splurging on this service for this piece) and actually caused damage. The delivery guys were kind but when opening the desk out of the box, they lost their grip and the drawers slid out which caused the two edges of the drawer to become damaged. They took photos and said they would let Wayfair know but no one has reached out to me about it.
