This desk exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a gorgeous farmhouse look that works perfectly in the space. My desk arrived scratched, it is easy to scratch. The instruction pictures are not clear on the first step--keep in mind the lock hole goes on the inside. The photo of the desk makes it look wide enought for 2 monitors however that is a tight fit unless your monitors are smaller than 19" and you dont mind typing on the edge. The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. The desk is great overall. I really like the finish and it’s heavy which, for me speaks to the quality of the build. It was a relatively easy process to assemble as well. Unfortunately, there were several dings in the desk that I believe resulted from being delivered by FedEx rather than the delivery company that usually delivers larger pieces of furniture. Therefore, this very large and heavy desk was delivered by one man. I honestly don’t even know how he got it up on the front porch all on his own.
