We had purchased the same porch swing stand 10 years ago and it held up really well in our harsh Florida weather (we had stained it for weather proofing, so that was a big factor for it doing so well). It was time to purchase a new one because the old one was starting to rot in certain places. I did not hesitate to repurchase the same stand. This time I wanted to stain it white to match our swing. The instructions could use a little more detail to help with the assembly, but we figured it out. To assemble the stand, you need a drill, a mallet, and a socket wrench or wrench. The manufacturer provides you with a Robertson drill bit for the 3” screws. We needed 3 people to start the first installation step. 2 people were needed to assemble the rest of it. It took us an hour to assemble the stand. We are very pleased with the stand and recommend it.. Floridamom. Palmetto Bay, FL. Sat Apr 18 2026

This swing is replacing a 25 year old swing. It's wonderful. It's heavy and the wind hasn't moved it. It is pricer than the other swings but it's worth every penny. 5 out of 5 for me.. Antonene. Calumet City, IL. Tue Jun 09 2026

I thought the swing was 5-star, but the ‘A’ frame was a disappointment. Specifically, because the corner braces were not cut in such a way that they fit smoothly into place. Instead there were gaps and all 6 braces were either too short or too long and had to be trimmed. I would have expected this type of an issue if the swing came from a foreign market, but not when made in the USA. You should think about communicating with “All Things Cedar” and talk about quality control. What other cedar products have little issues. R W Sliger. Melbourne, FL. Sat Jun 26 2021

Paired with gym mats and a crash pad, this is a great solution for my 10 year old autistic daughter. One of the holes at the base wasn't drilled all the way, it seems okay without it but if I had more time I'd probably exchange it. We bought the one with the silks and they seem like the same material they used to make nightgowns in the 80s with, but has been sturdy enough for my kiddo, and even for me when testing.. Charlotte.
