The guy who installed the tile started out installing one box at a time, I noticed one area started to look too dark from the rest so I asked if he could open all the boxes and nix the colors to get a more even variation. I used this tile to renovate my fireplace and it is absolutely beautiful! I was worried ordering this without seeing it first but took a chance and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Only gave 4 stars because there were several sheets that had a broken andor chipped tile. Luckily I was able to use those sheets where I had to make significant cuts. I recommend ordering at least 10 more than you think you need, tiling with herringbone pattern is tricky and requires more than standard tile in order to get everything cut accurately and aligned - lots of scraps in the end. I was a little skeptical about ordering at first but sure am glad I did. The tile is amazing. It’s true real stone and on a nice have mesh grid which keeps it all in line nicely. It makes installation much easier. I also like that it’s sealed which makes grouting much easier. I couldn’t be happier. It looks no different than tile I was looking at locally that would have costed me double the price. I definitely would buy it again if need be and recommend it to any one.
