I love the look, but I was surprised to find these are completely plastic. I understand Mepra is a high-standard brand, which explains the premium price, but it is hard to justify paying this much for lightweight material. They have a great aesthetic, but simply not worth the money for plastic flatware.. Kelly. Matthews, NC. Tue Feb 17 2026

Following the typical minimalist approach that features in all Jasper Morrison's work, this design is an attempt to reduce the "cutlery-object" to its barest essence, its purest and most customary form and what might tentatively be called its definitive form, and deliberately stripped of all stylistic value and - perhaps precisely because of this - recognizable as Morrison's work.

This 5 Piece 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 1 made of a high-quality and durable acrylic handle - looks like the mother of pearl and the highest quality of stainless steel which is beautifully connected by an antique silver-plated ring.

I do love this silverware, especially that it is a true white. The reason for the four stars is that one of the two sets I bought had scratches to it and the plastic sleeves were open on that set. After thinking about it, I wonder if that set hadn’t been used and returned. I’m waiting for some different sets to come from Horchow. If they aren’t true white, I’ll probably buy more of this from Wayfair.. Sherri. Atoka, TN. Thu Mar 17 2022
