We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. If you're looking for a large poolside umbrella that provides excellent shade and feels well built, this has been a great addition to our backyard.. Cindy. Florida. Tue Jun 23 2026

SUPER impressed with the quality! The directions were excellent and anticipate questions, concerns, and potential assembly mistakes. The parts are high quality and work well. We got the rolling base and it’s great as well. I was nervous about this company and I’m VERY glad we went for it. I immediately bought a traditional table umbrella as well. Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend..
