I was super excited to receive these lamps I thought they would match kind of a neutral tone around the room. They are quite large and yes, I looked at the measurements and compared it to the lamp that I had in that spot before I purchased. There are two things that do stick out. I had read it and somebody else’s review after I placed the order and now I’m wondering if I would’ve noticed or if it would’ve bothered me before reading it elsewhere. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention when purchasing the lamps however I thought they were going to be a little bit more distinct from each other. You can tell they were mass produced. I was going more for the natural vibe as opposed to “we got twins” look. Maybe if I used them in separate rooms. However that defeats the purpose. So I really like this lamp first of all. It is the perfect height for my son. Its gold finish gives it a nice classic look to it. I loved that it has a step on and off peddle no need to reach to turn it on. I was trying to make my son a small little readingdrawing nook area to do what he enjoys the most. I was just not expecting that the top was glass and I accidentally broke one of the pieces so instead of 3 glass rings it has 2 in the picture. These are great solar lights for the patio. I only expected one lamp, but suprise-suprise there were two solar lights in my box, what an unexpected pleasant suprise! I actually wanted two but was waiting to receive the first to judge the quality before ordering another and now I don't have to....yeah. Overall, easy to assemble, just be carefull threading the legs as some pieces had a few burrs. The floor lamp with table is very lightweight and will easily blow over without something heavy on the bottom shelf to help.
