I'm a 6'1" 240lb man (athletic), and it isn't remotely "too small" as some have said, so adjust your expectations for your body type. The cushion is firm, but comfortable in my opinion. I LOVE this vanity chair. It looks perfect in my newly remodeled bathroom. This chair is comfortabe and supports my back well. I got in the car and drove around a couple of nearby streets and was able to locate the pictured house. They had brought it inside but were very nice and even put it in the car for me.
