This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This is a lovely mid century modern couch. It arrived very well packaged but did have a small scuff on the back of one of the cushions. It was hard to out together with two people. The directions say to put the arm on, then the back but either way was hard. Once they were together it slides together to lock and the feet go on. I love how beautiful this couch is! It looks perfect in my Harry Potter library (Slytheryn green) and it’s comfortable! It was easy to assemble alone (I’m a woman) and the instructions were easy to follow. I feel this couch is worth the price I paid, my only complaint is how low to the ground it is but that I can fix all on my own. It’s a little less plush looking than the original pics on the site but I can also fluff it up. I’ve bought so much from Wayfair and they have always been great to work with! I love this company!.
