We bought this chair and ottoman for our house in the Bahia. The delivery was very fast and it arrived in good condition. The color of the leather is rather the one that appears in the photo with a darker tone, but in any case the tone worked well in the house. The quality of both pieces is excellent. The ottoman is a bit hard, but we prefer it that way. The leather cushion of the chair is also a bit hard, but quite comfortable. Two things, both important: #1. I LOVE this chair. It's gorgeous, very high quality, and butter-soft. One day-- a long time from now, I hope-- I just may ask to be propped up in it, my feet resting on an equally lovely stool (TBD) as I await my great reward. #2. Assembly is NOT easy, nor even possible for a single person, unless they have a third arm or a very precise robot. A second person is required-- one with patience, emotional intelligence, and really good eyesight. These chairs are a homerun. A expensive boutique look but at an accessible price. They have a handmade (in a good way) artisan made look and feel to them. No bolts or screws are used, but dowels instead. This gives them a nice clean, and elegant look. The woven seat and back are threaded through cutout notches that also give it that artisan feel. It is very sturdy and solid. The low profile is another big plus for me as these sit outside a master bedroom patio and didnt want them to block the view. The biggest plus is they came already put together! The only thing I would possibly tweak is moving the back bar on the seat a touch further back....but other than that they are absolutely perfect and just what i was looking for.
