This rug is beautiful!!! I love it and everyone who has seen it in my home wants to know where I purchased it. It’s great quality and soft. It does shed some when I vacuum you can tell. However, the shedding is not bad, so I am believing it will stop over time. I have had wool rugs before that the shedding was unbearable and I have had great quality wool rugs that stop shedding over time/use. I haven’t installed this yet, but it’s a large and beautiful pendant light. Taking off a star because it arrived covered in tiny styrofoam bits from a broken/degraded piece of styrofoam in the packaging. A few of the wicker parts were also broken, which is disappointing in a pendant at this price. This is a beautiful rug! Very soft colors. And picks up a pale blue when in different lighting but all in all is a very soft beige, gray and ivory. Heavy and soft to the bare feet! But if you care about fiber content know that this rug is not 100 wool. It is in fact 70 Wool and 30 Cotton which was a disappointment because I was needing a high traffic area rug.
