It's I'd give this comforter 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only reason it doesn't get a full five is that it's a bit stiffer than I anticipated, but that's to be expected with a tightly woven allergen-barrier fabric. Since I use a duvet cover anyway, it isn't a dealbreaker. It also feels a little warmer than I expected, so if you're a very hot sleeper, you may want to keep that in mind. That said, I specifically wanted an all-season comforter, and it strikes a good balance between warmth and comfort. The biggest surprise was the value. I’m really impressed with this. It is beyond my exceptions for the price. The white is a bright white. The plush is plushy. I was hesitant buying knowing it’s polyester and I sometimes feel hot at night. I would still recommend cotton shell if you’re a hot sleeper and not this but it’s not too bad paired with my cotton percale sheets it’s a good balance of crisp cool sheets and a cozy comforter. I’d love to give this comforter 5 stars because it’s very comfy and feels almost like hotel quality. However after a month of use I started to feel some itchiness and realized that it was because feathers were coming out of the fabric. The solution is to use a duvet cover which is a little disappointing for me as I feel they just make the comforter hotter, and I’m already a hot sleeper.
