Overall I'm satisfied with this sink given the price point. My main reason for upgrading was to accommodate a new single-hole tap, as my old sink had a three-hole configuration. The trade-off is that the stainless steel is noticeably thinner gauge than my previous sink, which has me a little concerned about durability — particularly the potential for denting with regular use. It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! Fantastic value for the money. Very durable and thick gauge metal for the durability. The overall look is very nice and high-quality. Very easy to install. I don’t do this every day and have never done it before actually but I had it installed within 30 minutes. It comes with a template in the box that you just trace onto your countertop and then make your cut for the sink in your countertops and drop it right in. I used a jigsaw to cut the hole for the sink into the Formica countertop. Just make sure you have a fine blade and put blue painters tape on the countertop so it doesn’t splinter. I just got my kitchen redone. Let me say that I am not a fan of stainless steel or single bowl sinks. I do not use a dishwasher. My kitchen is small and I didn’t use a dishwasher when I had one. I had first ordered a composite granite sink from a local company that was shipped here. After two sinks came chipped, I had had enough. So I ordered this sink. It’s heavy, it’s old school and deep and I like it so far. So, we’ll see how it works. I like that the center is lower, so when I need room for bigger items, the sink easily accommodates it. Seems a little thin compared to the old-fashioned stainless sinks of the past, but is not loud. Fantastic value for the money. Very durable and thick gauge metal for the durability. The overall look is very nice and high-quality. Very easy to install. I don’t do this every day and have never done it before actually but I had it installed within 30 minutes. It comes with a template in the box that you just trace onto your countertop and then make your cut for the sink in your countertops and drop it right in. I used a jigsaw to cut the hole for the sink into the Formica countertop. Just make sure you have a fine blade and put blue painters tape on the countertop so it doesn’t splinter.
