What really impressed me is the quality of the solid wood. It feels incredibly sturdy and heavy-duty. No creaking, no wobbling — even with two adults and our energetic dog jumping on it. The platform design is excellent the slats are strong and evenly spaced, so I was able to ditch the box spring entirely. Assembly was straightforward (though two people definitely help with the headboard), and everything lined up perfectly. It looks high-end but didn’t break the bank.
