These paired shelving units were just what my small business was looking for to store our store's product. Each unit took about 1/2 hour to assemble with two people working together. After putting the first unit together, the second happens much more quickly. The units' brown shelving match my wall shelving so that was a plus. The units are sturdy and balanced. I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. Low Quality Fiberboard.... The shelves are .5 inches thick- feels very flimsy and the sides with the design that I thought would look unique and cool .... no.... they are pure fiberboard. their photo clearly says that the shelves are 1.57 thick- ill upload the photo from their advertisement This is a cheaply made item, save your money & buy something from a store you can actually see- or ask a friend to make them and they will be more unique!
