These shelves are beautiful wood and are pretty deep. I love the color as well. I wanted something to put plants on and they are solid holding a lot of weight. I had a bit of trouble putting them up because the studs in my wall weren't spaced right they were to far apart to hit two studs. I ended up using one stud and 4 drywall anchors. this is pretty simplistic and mine in particular has a crack in the middle (I guess that's a natural thing?) but it works for me for what I needed and is pretty cute, I hung two towels on the hooks and rolled up 1 more towel on each of the middle shelves, then put a faux plant on the top. Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Color was accurate too. One thing to note: is is not a solid piece of wood. The one I received appears to be at least two pieces glued together. But, it was a pretty seamless joining so I am happy.. Absolutely love how these turned out. I followed the directions and washed the protective oil off of the metal brackets (warm water and dish soap), let them dry completely, and then sealed with clear polyurethane. I LOVE these shelves. They’re sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight, and they look rustic and rich. The wood has the perfect amount of imperfection with a couple dips and knots. The workmanship is excellent and beautiful. Yes, there is a very strong order because of the finish used to enhance the beauty of the wood. This odor is normal and I will need to air the unwrapped shelf out in the garage for a week or two.. Anonymous. Sun Dec 28 2025
