I wish the wood was one solid slab as opposed to five pieces pressed together, but for the price it has a nice look. The feet you screw on to the bottom make the table look like it's hovering, but you can easily not put them on and have the legs/base pretty flush to the group. Absolutely love this table. The table top and legs are sturdy, high quality and aesthetically beautiful and give our living room the perfect rustic industrial look we were looking for. The only thing I would call out is that the fabrication of the holes in the bottom of the table and the legs didn't line up evenly so the legs are slightly crooked. At first I didnt like it. But once I stained it myself, I do like it. Right out of the box, the wood was very dry with a light clear coat applied. Before using this table, heavily treat it with oil wood polish. Otherwise, its going to soak up everything that touches it. I tried to cancel this order just one hour after placing it. But Wayfair said no. Then they told me that if I returned it, Id have to pay 35.00 for shipping. Ill probably never buy from Wayfair again. It looks as pictured. When the drawer is facing the sofa, the back of the drawer cannot be seen, so it looks really sleek and clean from the other side. My only disappointment is that the top is finished in a matte acrylic. I'm sure it was done to help protect it from spills and such, but real wood (solid, no veneers) like this should have some shine to the surface. Up close, matte on real wood makes it look and feel (!) like Formica. It's still a really good deal for the money and we're happy with it. Oh, and oddly, the drawer itself is made from solid wood and has smooth-acting metal slides, which was a nice surprise. The originator knows how to box!
