Beautiful solid wood bookshelf, it height was the perfect height for my place and just look gorgeous with the book and decorations. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that some pieces were scratched and the staining scratches easily, still would recommend buying this, it’s wood so if you take care of it would last forever. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Generally a solid bookshelf for the price. The wood style finish is reasonably well done, the decorative side panels add interest without being excessively gaudy, and the construction overall is sturdy and solid. Adjustable shelf height would have been nice, but all shelves here are fixed. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap..
