It’ll take some getting used to but the aesthetics are pleasing to my eyes. I went from dark cherry finish with box springs down to a distressed white platform bed. I can’t stop looking at it every time I walk into my room! Disclaimer It took 2 people approx 3 hours to assemble. If you’re doing it by yourself it’ll take much longer. It’s easier with at least 2 people and (if you’re the 2nd person go ahead and find you an allen wrench, it’ll go by faster than our 3 hours). Tip The box is heavy and much heavier if you’re going upstairs, so get some muscles to help you. Also check off each item as you take it out of the box, to make sure nothing is missing.. It looks nice enough and functional for a spare bedroom that does not get used often. It is cheap, put together yourself furniture and the wood is very soft. I can imagine it getting very marked up with use. The drawers are not smooth at all and stick depending on what kind of carpenter you are. The price is fair for what you get therefor cannot be disappointed. There is also a nightstand that matches this dresser although a different brand. But together, you can’t tell the difference. This is gorgeous. And HEAVY. Make sure you have someone around if you need to move it. And even then sliders would be a benefit. The entire set is to large to fit in the picture. It’s an amazing set. The drawers on the dresser feel a little stiff and the corner has a ding on it. But otherwise I am super pleased. I didn’t realize when I ordered this that I t came with white glove set up service. The folks who delivered it were great at communicating when they would arrive, polite and quick and thorough in their setup. And answered all my questions.
