This is a sturdy and versatile bench that came together simply in 20 minutes. The wood is smooth but dry, so I used “Old English” wood oil to condition the bench and it soaked it right up and looks amazing. It fits perfectly in my small bedroom at the foot of my queen bed. Although this is a very labor-intensive piece to make, the tops are completely handmade using reclaimed wood from antique doors. The legs are hand-distressed in antiqued colors. Each one is unique and will vary slightly. We have this reclaimed top old door bench in three distressed colors. The color refers only to the color of the legs.
