My only complaint is that the wood scratches easily. If i could change one thing, it would be that it had some sort of protective finish on it to keep it from scratching so easily. This media console is just the perfect addition to my living room. I chose the whitebrown so it goes with everything including the kitchen table that I got in the same colors. I had somebody put it together for me and it took him about an hour and a half. Even though the fire is artificial, it casts a nice warming, comforting glow and has sounds to go with it. This 70” fire place is very nice!! It n took me a while to put it together but I finally did it today!! I put it together. The instructions are clear but I tend to ignore instructions because I think I can do it without instructions. It is well built solid and when putting it together everything fits. The stone in the front is only wall paper which makes it look a little cheap, but the fire is realistic and provides heat.
