Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our distressed mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

These shelves are beautiful wood and are pretty deep. I love the color as well. I wanted something to put plants on and they are solid holding a lot of weight. I had a bit of trouble putting them up because the studs in my wall weren't spaced right they were to far apart to hit two studs. I ended up using one stud and 4 drywall anchors. They were easy to mount and they gave you plenty of screws and anchors. They are pretty sturdy but the holes that the pegs slide into could be a bit smaller Which would reduce the slight wobble.
