It looks nice enough and functional for a spare bedroom that does not get used often. It is cheap, put together yourself furniture and the wood is very soft. I can imagine it getting very marked up with use. The drawers are not smooth at all and stick depending on what kind of carpenter you are. The price is fair for what you get therefor cannot be disappointed. There is also a nightstand that matches this dresser although a different brand. But together, you can’t tell the difference. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). This dresser is solid when it comes to instructions - very easy to understand and put together. It’s also pretty heavy. I am in love with this dresser the size of the drawers are good, the line-up of the drawers isn’t wonky or off, and the sleek look is so cute. The reason I gave it a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review come down to two things. One, the front panels on the dresser drawers came with a few nicks, showing a much lighter tone of wood underneath. I was able to fix it with a few dots of my dark brown POSCA pen, but others may not be able to do the same with supplies at home. The other thing is the dresser is darker than the color shown in the image. While it worked out in the end, as I still love it and it still works with my other furniture, consumers should be able to expect to receive what they purchase, without surprises.
