I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. It’s easier with at least 2 people and (if you’re the 2nd person go ahead and find you an allen wrench, it’ll go by faster than our 3 hours). Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built. Iam very pleased with this king-size bed frame! The wood finish is beautiful and looks much more expensive than the price would suggest. However, this is the natural color and it is much darker than pictured on wayfair. The design is clean, modern, and versatile enough to work with many decorating styles. The frame feels sturdy and well-made, and the slatted support system provides excellent mattress support without the need for a box spring. Assembly was straightforward, and all the pieces fit together nicely. Once assembled, the bed felt solid with no wobbling or squeaking. The headboard adds just the right amount of character while maintaining a simple, elegant look. Overall, this bed met my expectations and will look great in my guest room.
