It looks nice enough and functional for a spare bedroom that does not get used often. It is cheap, put together yourself furniture and the wood is very soft. I can imagine it getting very marked up with use. The drawers are not smooth at all and stick depending on what kind of carpenter you are. The price is fair for what you get therefor cannot be disappointed. There is also a nightstand that matches this dresser although a different brand. But together, you can’t tell the difference. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). It’s very sturdy and nice dresser. The only issue I have with this dresser is the sliding door. The little bump pieces on the back are a little too big, causing the door to not slide properly will not go all the way to the left or right without it coming off track if you move it normally.
