The bunk bed is house-shaped, and also has roof and windows, creating a fun and lovely space to sleep and play. This bed has guardrails for safe sleep, as well as a built-in ladder for easy access to the upper bed. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty.
