This table has the space and storage shelf I was looking for. Very impressive quality! This wood is absolutely solid and durable—the chairs easily hold 200lbs+. The wood grain is quite lovely and would look great with a stain, but we opted to paint. It turned out beautifully, there was only one small spot with a bit of wood glue on it that required a bit of elbow grease to sand down. Taking away a star for a chunk of wood that was nicked out of a screw hole, made it difficult to tighten. The wood grain had two fairly deep horizontal cracks on the underside of the tabletop. Once it was assembled it looks beautiful and is sturdy, due to the manufacturer flaws well have to see if it stays that way. This is the second table we bought.great quality and very easy to assemble. Not much to do actually. The only complaint is they put the plastic on the bottom of the table to protect it and put it under the legs and frame so you can’t just tear it off. Aldo, there is a nick in it. See the pic.
