Those shelves are made of solid pine. The shelf is 1.75" thick. Each shelf bracket can hold up to 25lb per stud. Our shelves are made with love and passion. With a rustic look, these shelves are beautiful, robust, and elegant. They are made to fulfill your design needs, to a modern style, they add a sense of nature and harmony, to a retro-rustic style, they add a touch of wholeness. Each shelf will differ from the rest because each piece of wood is unique. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of each piece of wood's uniqueness.

Shelves come with set screws that go up throughout the bracket into the bottom of the shelf to eliminate any movement due to any imperfections in the reclaimed wood. Reclaimed wood is not perfect.

These shelves are beautiful wood and are pretty deep. I love the color as well. I wanted something to put plants on and they are solid holding a lot of weight. I had a bit of trouble putting them up because the studs in my wall weren't spaced right they were to far apart to hit two studs. I ended up using one stud and 4 drywall anchors.
