We are unable to guarantee a specific color, as each build is unique. You may notice features such as nail holes, knots, cracks, saw marks, and slight surface variations. These are not defects but rather part of the natural beauty and story of reclaimed wood. While we do our best to create a smooth and functional surface, it will not have the uniform finish of new wood. I love this table. It was delightfully easy to put together - literally took about five minutes, tops. The only challenging part was that I live alone (with two dogs who couldn't really help in this regard) and it's VERY heavy, so moving it just from my front door to the dining room about 30 feet away was a bit tough. I was also a bit disappointed that it arrived with some minor damage. One corner of the table got a tiny bit smashed in during shipping. But - I love the design and the quality of the table, and I honestly think they could charge a lot more for this product if they wanted to. Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place.
