Bought the set in white...colour is not white at all, but a very unattractive beige. Easily fixed with a couple coats of white paint, but for the high price of this item, the colour should be as advertised! Other then that, I was quite satisfied. Extremely easy to put together. Simple, solid and high quality, which is exactly what I was looking for. The bar stools are absolutely gorgeous! Would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the colour.. Elva. Regina, SK. We chose the *White Dodge Kitchen Island and we thoroughly LOVE it❣️ Btw, we think it's very slightly off-white, but that is what we wanted. It is Perfect in every way possible for us❣️ The look and colors fit into our 103 year old Craftsman House so well. Where our last island was open underneath, the Dodge Kitchen Island has plenty of closed storage space for a much less cluttered feel. Our last island was shorter in length, narrower in width; the Dodge Kitchen Island gives my SO/Fiance-Chef PLENTY of Counter Space to work with at an area of 60 by 30 inches! This means he can store his Kitchen Knives, Cutting Boards, Basket of cooking oils, plus a few other items, AND still have room to work!! We began searching for a kitchen island last year when we came across this Dodge Kitchen Island, but the price was out of range for us at the time. I saved the link, checked in now and then, looking, patiently waiting, hoping for a sale. Occasionally it did go on sale, not in a way that made it affordable for us. So I kept saving money for it. One night in the wee hours, scrolling through Wayfair I saw that it had gone on sale again, the price was $400 off; I hemmed and hawed, then just threw it in the cart and BOUGHT IT❣️ My husband-to-be LOVES cooking, I knew he LOVED THIS kitchen island, and he deserves the BEST. He woke in the middle of the night, I told him what I did, he said, "YOU WHAT??! THAT'S INSANE". I said, we do have the money in savings, you know I can rebuild it again, and you deserve the kitchen of your dreams. By morning he agreed, and now HE LOVES IT❣️ This island is very well made with thick, sturdy, pine. The wheels were in a packet strapped in the right side cupboard, the strap is screwed down; you will need a phillips screwdriver to remove it if your Pro-Relo shipper/driver does not do this for you. You will use the same screwdriver to remove the screws that are holding the front-side doors open, (they do this to keep the doors from sliding around during shipping). On the TOWEL RACK, you need not bump your knees, ROFL! The Towel Rack was merely screwed there for shipping purposes. Zip tied to the towel rack is an envelope, screws, a template, and directions; this is for you to use so you can place that towel rack at either end of the island. Chris, my Dear Love & SO says to tell you this: "Unless somebody is very skilled with a drill/driver, screw them in with a (non powered) screwdriver. It would be very easy to strip them out with just a little too much torque applied." I do believe he is correct in his assessment, pine is a VERY soft wood, if you strip out the hole you are attempting to screw the screw into, (don't say it, I know what you are thinking ), you will not be able to use said hole for placing the towel rack there. Got it? p.s. pardon the mess in our kitchen, lots of projects going on, we're getting married next month and there will be guests!. Pamela. New Mexico. Tue Jun 30 2026

This kitchen island brings a rustic look to your space with its mixed-material design and generous storage options. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on hidden casters for easy mobility. The three deep drawers and two sliding doors reveal fixed shelving for your kitchen essentials, while two side compartments behind iron mesh doors offer extra room for organization. A hand-applied lacquer finish adds a distressed feel that highlights the woodgrain for added depth. Plus, the metal towel bar keeps linens within reach while you work.

Worth every penny. Beautifully crafted! Just as shown.. Patti. Pala, CA. Sun May 03 2026

For some reason when I saw it for the first time I thought it was metal, but it is “wood”. Once I assembled it I realized that is not that bad. I really like how specious it is and for the price I cannot Ask for more. Corina. Bayonne, NJ. Sun Mar 08 2020

The thick wood top with drawer, brass towel rail, antiqued hand-hammered hardware, bottle opener, and hanging hook atop a slat wood bottom storage shelf. Reclaimed wood is old repurposed wood rescued from old barns, houses, barns, boxcars, and wine barrels. Wood is highly prized for its authentic seasoned effects and age-old character. It is a part of a popular new American farmhouse and or our coastal series from the heritage collection. The series is an expanding series that is affordable yet appropriately fashioned for a more relaxed American lifestyle. The style of the collection also can fit with farmhouse interiors as well as southern or New England-designed more rustic homes. The island is sold separately and is a unique stand-alone addition. Customers who liked this design but like a bigger option may consider a farmhouse island work console with authentic reclaimed New Zealand pine. All of the series pairs perfectly with each other and can be mixed matched and combined to increase the desired interior design.

The craftsmanship is wonderful as well as the color of the wood. This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I also like that the towel bar comes unattached, so you can place it on the side that works best for your kitchen.. Anonymous. Tue Jun 09 2026

The polyurethane finish adds scratch resistance, as well as makes the surface easy to clean. It's thick top and ample shelf space adds functional surface area to your busy kitchen. Amazing kitchen island! True quality for a great price. This was rather easy to put together because a simple piece of good quality. All that’s needed is a drill and vice grips, and the screws are provided. The instructions are simple, because the construction requires little except for drilling screws in. The trickier part is getting the shelves in, because they are to be done last. They have to aligned properly so you don’t have a lopsided island, but once you fit the shelf into the tight squeeze of the legs it’s hard to visualize the exact spot of the pre drilled hole in the leg. I tried widening the opening with my drill and dabbing it with yellow chalk, but it’s still hard to see through the pre drilled hole in the shelf. All in all this is a quality piece of solid wood that is sturdy and rustic and I’m so happy I bought it.. Diane. Hamden, CT. Thu Jan 11 2024

Three exterior shelves provide space to stage and store cooking implements or other decorative kitchen accents. This kitchen island measures 60" wide and has a weight capacity of 100lbs, so it's great for storing larger appliances.

It is very big and easily the biggest and best for the price. Easy to assemble. The only concern I have is the uneven top surface. I might top it with something as I'm afraid someone will spill a drink. The little shelving area is perfect for the pretty things that I needed a spot to display. It made my kitchen look like a celebrity kitchen on a dime. You will need stools or bar chairs. Update. The surface is very hard to keep clean. everything gets into the grooves. Have repainted the top a few times. Paint dripped down through gaps !!. Probably made from an old chicken house. Diana. Camp Hill, PA. Sun May 03 2026

Love, love, love! Extremely sturdy my son is over 300 pounds and he sleeps on it all the time when he visits. It looks classy definitely needs two people to put it together, but would definitely recommend.. Anonymous. Thu Nov 21 2024
