This desk seems like a sturdy and strong desk and looks good; however, I'm not sure how long it will last since it's not solid hardwood and I'm not sure how long it will take for the color on the top to start to wear. That being said, while it's still new, it looks great in my space. The drawers do not open and close very smoothly, but after many adjustments, it's now pretty good. The desk is very nice and what I needed for my office. The top is especially nice. I would not have paid the full price for it, but the discounted price was worth it. It took me about four hours to put together by myself however the instructions were pretty easy to follow. I’m not sure if I was sent the right color though. This lovely desk was a fabulous purchase! The price point is excellent for the quality. The legs are solid wood and although the desktop is MDF, it has a lovely grain is very heavy and looks expensive. There is no drawer so we added some lovely leather accoutrements for storage and a desk pad. We have a small office so the openness of the desk gives a feeling of space in the room.
