I really like it! I had my doubts as we were taking it out of the box. I thought it looked too big. And too white. But now surrounded by chairs and the couch, it's perfect. It's really cute and the shabby chic distressed-look is just right. You may get splinters a bit however along the edges. So if you're looking for upscale and formal, this may not work for you. This coffee table is beautiful. It was somewhat easy to put together and came without any damage. It’s pretty solid except the thin flake board panels on the side. The most difficult part in my opinion was putting the lifts on. I will say it is top heavy. And when you lift the top you have to hold the bottom piece so it doesn’t tip.
