Narrow, and not too long, and possessing three practical drawers for hiding what you want to hide, while two shelves provide display space, this charming console does it all. This is a nice console table but definately not worth the money. At this price point I expected the 3 drawers to run smoothly on metal or plastic runners but they don't. There are no runners, instead there's a little piece of wood / plastic? in the middle that stops the drawers falling out completely but it's extremely wobbly. Not what you'd expect for an item that should be high quality. Other than the poor quality of the drawers it's a nice table though and it's not easy to find a table that is as narrow as this is. I had high hopes for this table. It arrived with no packing damage. It was well packaged and arrived quickly. The wood is gorgeous and matches beautifully. The 4 stars is a stretch, only given for the wood! We had to completely re-drill holes as none line up!!! None! We could not even put the x on as the wood was not cut to fit, and added nothing but interest. This is a pricey table for the quality of craftsmanship. It's an okay piece. Color is different then what I expected. More of a gold then a woodtone type color. Looks odd with my white oak floors. I kept it until I find a replacement. Too much of a hassel to return. Ill use it in a different room that doesn't have so much natural light. Kinda pricey for what you get. Sides are super sold and heavy. Top is definitely laminated.
