I really like it! I had my doubts as we were taking it out of the box. I thought it looked too big. And too white. But now surrounded by chairs and the couch, it's perfect. It's really cute and the shabby chic distressed-look is just right. You may get splinters a bit however along the edges. So if you're looking for upscale and formal, this may not work for you. I am very pleased with this console table. As mentioned in other reviews, it is pressed board with a laminate overlay, but you get what you pay for. From a distance, it looks very stylish, and the added metal contrast is exactly what I was looking for. The width of the table top was perfect for my space, and the lower shelf was a must to help dress up the space.
