Perfect chair for a small space. The back cushion is detachable and fabric and Velcro on the backside. ( see picture) The seat is very firm, (I hope it will break in) and very shallow. I am only 5’3” and it is even short for my legs. There is no way you could comfortably add an accent pillow.. you would slide off the chair. Fortunately for me the chairs are going into a rarely used but needed furniture. The quality is very nice. No damage and looks exactly like pictured. It was packed nicely and traveled halfway across the United States in one week! Yes, I recommend this chair but NOT if you’re looking for that cozy sit and relax chair. What a gorgeous chair! The photos really don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect size, not oversized, but not too small either. I can’t decide whether to keep it in my bedroom or move it to my office… I may just have to buy a second one! Assembly was incredibly easy and took me about five minutes with no tools required.
