It’ll take some getting used to but the aesthetics are pleasing to my eyes. I went from dark cherry finish with box springs down to a distressed white platform bed. I can’t stop looking at it every time I walk into my room! Disclaimer It took 2 people approx 3 hours to assemble. If you’re doing it by yourself it’ll take much longer. It’s easier with at least 2 people and (if you’re the 2nd person go ahead and find you an allen wrench, it’ll go by faster than our 3 hours). Tip The box is heavy and much heavier if you’re going upstairs, so get some muscles to help you. Also check off each item as you take it out of the box, to make sure nothing is missing.. This picture is what the bed frame currently looks like 2 years after purchase! It still looks the exact same! We also have two large dogs who sleep with us and there are no additional scratches from them either. I have rearranged our bedroom plenty of times and I’ve never had an issue moving it (with the help from my husband.) I remember I was able to put it together myself super quickly as well.
