It’s very sturdy and nice dresser. The only issue I have with this dresser is the sliding door. The little bump pieces on the back are a little too big, causing the door to not slide properly will not go all the way to the left or right without it coming off track if you move it normally. The bookshelf is very nice and solid with a lot of shelf space. However, I did run into an issue with the holes on one of the pieces not fitting together. I was able to contact support and we managed to find a solution together. The rest of the build was fairly easy and painless from that point forward. As far as the shelf goes, its very sturdy and holds a lot of books. The shelves are incredibly easy to move if you want one shelf to be larger or smaller. We are using this as a shoe cabinet. Wayfair calls it a bookshelf, but I don’t think I would ever recommend it for books — the shelves are not adjustable and are way too short for books. They are perfect for our shoes, though! Even our boots fit nicely on the taller shelves. I am giving four stars because the construction of the doors, though cute, is not very sturdy at all. If you have active pets or kids I think they’re likely to break easily. Hopefully ours hold up since it’s in an out of the way location in our home, but only time will tell.
