We love this door! We previously had a door that opened inward to our very tiny bathroom and this has been a huge space saver. It was super easy to paint to fit our decor and to assemble. We've had it for quite a while and it has held up well against frequent opening and closing by both adults and children. We did add a lock to the inside. We get lots of compliments from guests on this!. Jennifer. Hilliard, OH. Mon May 25 2026

Designed to glide smoothly on a track, this door seamlessly transitions between spaces, adding a touch of rustic charm and modern functionality. Crafted with natural materials, it complements any decor and becomes a stunning focal point.

The door looks great and we are very pleased! The decorative diagonal pieces were missing, but Wayfair's customer service was fantastic as always. They got those shipped to us very quickly. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to include a stain stick the color of the door, as the dowel plugs on the side were raw wood color, so we had to find a stain stick ourselves to try to match and blend in those dowels.. Beautiful door! However, there were two places that had wood broken off. My husband is handy and said he thought he could fix it. He did, so I didn’t report a claim. Make sure you order one size bigger than your door opening. I ordered the size of my opening and could use a couple more inches. Beautiful door!. Karen. Reedville, VA. Tue Sep 02 2025

Lubann barn doors bring the warmness of color and richness of genuine rustic wood characters to American homes. Wood products are valued largely based on the wood species used in those products. What separates alder wood barn doors from barn doors of pine wood or other wood? Warm color and rustic look. Lubann barn doors are constructed of high-quality American knotty alder. Alder wood features beautiful wood grains and rustic knots, characters make each Lubann barn door aesthetically unique and rich in natural wood beauty. Besides, hardwood alder wood is more durable and stable than pine wood, and easy to be stained. Alder wood used in Lubann barn doors is milled in the US and certified by the National Hardwood Lumber Association. We take pride in preserving the natural rustic wood look and being environmentally friendly when making Lubann barn doors. No adhesive (a major source of harmful formaldehyde in engineered wood and imported wood products) is used in the wood. You are not only buying a barn door from us but also bringing home a piece of natural artwork. We proudly make Lubann barn doors in the US and offer the most popular American farmhouse styles and many size options. Lubann barn doors are designed to be easy do-it-yourself projects, so customers can build one-of-a-kind barn doors at a budget-friendly price.

It turned out beautiful. It wasn’t too bad putting it together, just take your time and the finished product will last a lifetime. The knotty alder wood is beautiful. I installed it between our master bedroom and bathroom, there was an archway without a door. So while my wife was away visiting family for a couple of weeks I ordered it and built and installed it before she got home. Now when one of us needs to get ready before the other is up, we just slide the door closed and the light doesn’t bother the spouse.. Paul. NV. Tue Oct 18 2022

Decent door for the price. Disappointed that the panels shift and create gaps the more often you close and open the door. Does not offer much sound privacy either.. Luke. Thu Apr 16 2026
