The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal. This is really a great fan...the blades are plastic which I realized was a good thing because as we took down old one blades{wood} they had warped...wont happen now...puts out a really nice breeze on low...high is fantastic...A few challenges to putting it together but all in all it went well...I recommend this to all!!!.
