This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy. This Seagrass bench is an attractive addition to any room. It is of high quality and very sturdy. Only problem I had was that it is NOT the color in the picture. I bought it to go with some brown rattan lamps I have in a bedroom and it is not brown but a very light tan, almost like bleached. If I could give this gorgeous bench 10 stars, I would! I am so impressed with the quality. It looked lovely in the photos, but once I unboxed it, wow, it is so beautiful with lots of nice details, and the quality is incredible. I bought this for a very long entry hall. It will be nice for removing shoes, but once I decorated it, it's such a statement piece that I may move it to the master bedroom. This is a large bench, 18'' H X 48'' W X 20'' D, and solid, weighing almost 40 pounds. This is real wood, and the rattan is soft and tightly wrapped. I mention the rattan because I always worry about hard rattan eventually cracking or breaking. The cushion is very padded and also comfortable. Bought this to add to my foyer area. It goes perfectly in my space under my Heron print from Wayfair. It is extremely sturdy and could sit two people easily.
