This is a very soft area rug! I got a pad for underneath it but you probably wouldn’t need one. The cats LOVE it. I had to replace a rug I loved (bought on Wayfair years ago) and I had been eyeing this one for a while. So glad I got it! It leans gray-beige which is perfect for my colors.
