It’s a pretty soft rug I just wish that they had been more careful when rolling it because it has a very stubborn crease in it. Also, it has orange spots, it’s not terribly noticeable and maybe it’s purposeful but seems odd. I will keep it because it goes with my furniture and looks nice in my living room. Exactly what I wanted. Excellent packaging. It was wrapped around a hard tube, wrapped in easily removable plastic, and the ends were packaged with cardboard. The color is purple with lavender and green. I have a gripper pad underneath. It’s easy to vacuum with the roller beaters on as well. It’s not soft if you walk barefoot but I wasn’t going for soft. The first large area rug I’ve purchased that didn’t need a long time to settle. Just the very end needs a few more days. The pictures were taken immediately after I put it down. When I learned that Rifle paper company did collaboration – I knew I was on board! The rug came rolled up very nicely in a thick plastic covering. You should be aware that it is ia floor covering, not plush, but perfect for a little softness. If you want it to be a little more cushioning under your feet, I would recommend buying a rug pad. The design is gorgeous. The colors are subtle but saturated. These muted tones will go nicely with the bed, dresser, and nightstands that are coming in the next few weeks.
