This was the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. We called multiple times- first Wayfair, then the delivery company and politely asked them to bring the package to the door of our treatment room and not leave it outside somewhere. Instead, they just left it in a random location. That is completely unacceptable. Everything about this chair is wrong: - the footrest comes up only when the chair is fully reclined - the seat of the chair is so high off the floor that the only person in our family whose feet could touch the floor while seated is 6 ft 4 inches tall - the lever to pull for reclining the chair is a safety hazard. If you aren't careful, your finger will get pinched (hard) in the mechanism. This has happened to two people in our family. - when the chair is in an upright position, it gradually reclines back until almost horizontal (without touching the recline lever). this could possibly be a problem where it was assembled incorrectly - we purchased Wayfair's setup/assembly package - another big mistake - Overall: THE CHAIR IS AWFUL. Wow this thing is a beast! Battery charged rather quickly which is nice. It is a little hard to maneuver it in and out of the battery slot. However, with practice I am hoping that will become easier. Don’t use the wrench they provide. It will tear your hands up. Using this as a stair climber and descending is pretty straightforward. Maintaining pressure on the up and down button I am sure is a safety feature, but until you become a seasoned pro it takes a little finesse. The fabric is nice on this recliner. It rocks which is nice. It was fairly easy to put together except the arms were a challenge. The massage is nice. The three stars are because it will only put the feet up and the head down at the same time. There is no adjustment for just putting your feet up or the back down. I had to add an ottoman for my feet if I want to have them up but be upright on the back. It makes it very inconvenient. It did not say this anywhere in the description or I would have gotten a different chair. If you don't mind the reclining and feet up in the same motion, then it is a nice chair.. Deborah.
