Love, love, love. I washed and dried these sheets and they require no ironing out of the dryer. I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. Nice crisp cotton sheets that hold up well in the washer and dryer. Haven't had any issues with them shrinking either. The sizing is generous and I've had no problems fitting these onto my mattress. I really love the pattern and quality. These sheets even allow my skin to breathe better. I've always preferred a more crisp sheet than to a soft. These are definitely nothing like a cheap cotton set either, the quality is impressive. They're well worth every penny I spent purchasing them and honestly a great value for the money.
