These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. These sheets are amazing. They are 100% cotton and fit my extra tall mattress without moving or shifting through the night and being 100% cotton are breathable.
