Soft, Lightweight Beautiful Fall Colors I’m really happy with these velvet pillow covers! The colors are beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. They have a really pretty fall-inspired palette without looking overly seasonal, so I think they can easily be used throughout the year. The rustorange, soft blue, cream, and golden tones look especially nice together and added just the right amount of warmth and color to my dark sofa. The velvet is super soft to the touch and has a nice appearance without being heavy or bulky. These are lightweight pillow covers, which I actually prefer because they’re easy to work with and don’t make the pillows feel stiff. Once the inserts are inside, they look full and comfortable. One of my favorite things is the zipper across the top. It made them extremely easy to put on. I didn’t have to fight with the pillow insert or try to squeeze it through a tiny opening. The zipper also blends in nicely once it’s closed, so you really don’t notice it. I also like that the velvet gives the solid colors a little bit of texture and dimension. Depending on how the light hits them, the colors can look slightly richer or softer, which makes them look more expensive than a basic solid pillow cover. I love this pair of apple green pillows with pom-pom edge! The order arrived fairly quickly and was well packaged. The inserts were vacuum packed. I followed the instructions to put them in the dryer on high for 10 minutes to re-fluff them and that did exactly what it was supposed to. They are full and fluffy with some firmness. The fabric is smooth and soft to the touch, not shiny. The zipper is well hidden and fairly easy to open. The instructions on the pillow cases were to wash first and tumble dry on low. I did so but lost a pom-pom in the wash cycle and some of the others look a bit compromised. I’m not happy about that because the pom-pom that was lost is actually on the top of the pillow so it is noticeable there are others that look like they are just hanging by a thread so I’m not sure about the longevity of the pom-poms, which is disappointing..
