As with all washcloths/towels, I washed them first, but being from India I used extra bleach for sanitary purposes. When I bathe, I find myself grabbing these washcloths 99% of the time. After several months of washing them, they’ve held up nicely. They are soft, and I seem to like the waffle-type pattern on the material. I would purchase these again and I would recommend them. I wanted to go back to one color and get rid of all my many other old ones and none of them matched. These are a nice feel; not thin they have a thicker texture, material.
